On a scale of 1-10, I sweat at 11. This mat cover works really well. It needs a bit of moisture in order to stick to my cork mat. If I don't spray it, after a bit my sweat will dampen it to get it to be non-slip. When dry, my feet and hands don't slip on the top surface, but the bottom surface slides a little bit on the mat. The slippage is not awful, just a bit distracting - and solved with a misting of water at hand and foot. It's absorbent, yet dries quickly. Easy to fold and carry. I don't roll it up with my mat because the towel needs to dry after class and the mat does not. It does not smell, at all, even if I don't wash it. It gets used 3 to 5 times a week and after 5 months it still looks like new - possibly because it doesn't get worn by repeated washing?

This yoga towel has pockets at each end so it fits on to the mat and stays put pretty well. The towel is thin, not like a bath or beach towel, so it does not add cushion but the surface is good for grip. The colors are beautiful, the little bag is cute, I don't use it for the towel but for other things. I like this product and use it. Have not yet washed it so can't evaluate how it holds up, but it looks and feels well made and has enough ease to work even if it shrinks a little. Update 5/2017 - it did shrink when machine dried (laundromat dryer, those get very hot), but even though it doesn't quite reach to the ends of the mat - makes the edges turn up a little - it doesn't interfere with my practice. Going to try a wash-and-stretch; familiar process as I'm tall and sleeves and shirts have a habit of getting shorter in the wash too. So I'd say be careful with the machine drying, maybe just wash and hang it up.

Buying these in EVERY color. This is the BEST yoga towel I have ever used! I practice bikram yoga regularly and this is the only towel that STAYS IN PLACE! It even has pockets for you to fold your mat into the towel for added security. Came with an empty spray bottle and carrying bag. Dries fast, absorbent, long, and durable! I LOVE these and you will too! These are better than my yogitoes towels!

Bought this after I bought I different highly rated yoga towel that was terrible. This towel is much softer and actually stays in place (for the most part). I use it for yoga sculpt so I’m moving/jumping/etc on the mat/towel a lot and it does shift some. I spray the towel down a lot when I start but it doesn’t seem to stay in place the best if I don’t get really sweaty to keep it wet. So for yoga sessions that aren’t as intense or heated (above 93F) it moves around a lot more and can get annoying. It’s also a few inches longer than my giam mat which surprised me. I just wrap it under on the end I don’t use as much. It seems to not get in my way (I have it at the top of my mat and just keep my hands down a bit and my feet to the bottom edge of the mat)- but if you heavily used end to end I could see how the uneven layer would get annoying.

This is the most fantastic yoga towel ever. Folding over the end of the mat is amazing. For those that say this towel is too long--you probably don't have a standard length yoga mat. It fits perfectly on a standard length mat. It has some slight grip to the bottom so it stays put on your mat, as well as some grip on the pieces that touch the floor, so it keeps your mat in place. I haven't found that it's necessary to wet the towel before use--it's not slippery (and I find yoga mats to be extremely slippery). It also fully covers the mat, on all sides, so it doesn't appear like you have a towel on your mat at all. I know I'm extra sweaty and sometimes feel silly using a towel in a nonheated class, but I need it! Overall, I'm super happy with this purchase and have no complaints.

This is the BEST yoga towel I’ve found! The combination of the non-slip beads and the over-the-edge pockets that hold the mat in place is exactly what I was hoping to find and this is the only one I’ve found with BOTH. It’s the only yoga towel I’ve not been distracted by- it stays put, doesn’t wrinkle under your feet or come off if you bump it. I’m so happy I bought one as a gift for a friend and a second one for myself!!

Hello! I was really excited to receive this and try it out for hot yoga. I cant afford to get a 50-60$ yoga towel and have just used regular towels, however, the slipage and folds during hot yoga are the worst. So i went ahead and purchased this yoga towel, definitely stays in place, no slipage or folds, never had to adjust once during my 1 hour hot yoga class, so stars for that. What i didnt like and the reason for return this was the texture of the towel. When you're holding your childs pose or have your bare knees, hands, forearms etc on the towel/mat it definitely feels like a small rug burn and wil lget minor indentations of the texturized design. I really wanted to love this towel as it was affordable and great that it came with a cute bag but just wasnt worth the money.

Really great quality towel that doesn't slip AT ALL (at least for me). The manufacturers seem to have done everything they can to combat common problems with slippage - they've added corners so you can slip the ends round your mat, sticky gel stuff to the underside so it doesn't slip in the first place regardless of the corners, and made the material textured ie. not shiny and smooth so your hands don't slip in downward dog. For hot yoga, this towel is a winner. The colour is also beautiful (I ordered the purple). I ordered two other products to compare which, I must be honest, looked absolutely stunning, but my hands and feet slipped when I tried them out on the carpet, never mind the yoga studio, and I'm sending them back. Couldn't recommend this product highly enough.

Dies ist meine erste eigene Yoga-Matte, deshalb sollte sie lila sein. Die Farbe ist schön und das Materialgefühl auf der Matte ist sehr angenehm. Rutschfest, wenn es mein Stand verlangt und gleichfähig, wenn ich die Positionen wechseln möchte. Klasse!

Just started getting into my hot yoga so bought 3 different towels off amazon. This one is best of the 3 - fits perfectly over the map and the corner pockets ensure it stays in place. It’s super grippy and makes a world of difference! Have only washed it once but it’s kept it’s shape and colour. Overall very pleased and would recommend. Only suggestion would be to include a matching hand towel like some others do!
