ePhoto 9115 Portrait Studio Backdrop Support System

I have also purchased a light kit from the same company (ePhoto). They make decent products, their weakness is definitely their light stands. They aren't made of the best material and I'm sure if you're rough on them they would break easily. I treat mine with care and they work well for me.That being said this system is pretty good for the price. The top bar IS adjustable (not sure why other reviewers are saying it isn't, maybe user error). The bar is telescopic so you just pull on it to extend it across for however long you need it.Th stands adjust to around 7ft in height; although i've learned with these stands if you pull up on the stand so the supports for the legs are angled up you can get a height of about 8ft.These stands with a green screen in place are fairly sturdy however i would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND anchoring them with some sandbags (which you can get here on Amazon). I graduated from film school so this is second nature for me. I put sandbags on EVERY production stand I use, it's just smart.Overall for the price it's darn good system. You really do get what you pay for. If you want heavy duty steel stands you're gonna probably pay over $100/per stands

I have been using this for a while now and it does a good job.I have been using the stands at their highest hight and they are stable enough.I am using a roll of white paper with it and I haven't had any issues.A couple of weights and I'm not worried about it falling, even with a model on the white paper.The extendable crossbar is very handy, especially when storing it away.The good thing is, when you don't need to use the crossbar, you have a couple of extra stands that can be used with speedlights.For a basic setup and for someone beginning in studio photography, this is a great purchase.

I got this set because I needed a portable to do in home photography as client locations. This definately a portable system.I would recommend setting it up a few times because it takes some getting used to. For instance the backdrop bar is a twist lock system. Depending on how wide you need it it doesn't always want to unlock so easily. although since I use fabric backdrops I like that the pole isn't so thick that I can't use a pair of big clips to hold everything in place.The stands that hold the poles up have the best stability when the 3 bar support is completely level with each other. This makes the base circumference pretty big for each stand I'ld say a little shy of 3 feet. Depending on where you're working the backdrop starts eating up alot of room.It's definately a great starter but could use some improvement.

I got this package the first time and the box was damaged, parts were loose inside, and there was zero packing material in the box to protect anything. I contact Amazon for a return/replacement. The 2nd one arrived in better box with packing.It is sturdy enough for the price and it allows you to expand the width easily.But the image on the site shows a canvas bag to carry the items in and there was none. The description doesn't mention the bag. I have to decided to keep it since I finally got a function one but without the case (one of the reasons I selected this product vs another) or to send it back again and go with something new.

I bought two of these MP5 play all players for my two teens and so far they are working great! The only problem I'm having is converting the movies over to play. I didn't take a star off for this because I'm sure it will be no problem to figure out. My kids love the touch screen and even the pink has a hidden pen, although using your finger works great too. Great picture, great sound! It took a matter of seconds to add music. I will probably be ordering another for my younger son since this product is very easy to use! They love them!! I needed a support system that was mobile, easy to put up, take down and store. I will be using it to shoot short educational videos and I have rather limited space in my home. I was a little skeptical about this backdrop support but now that it has arrived and I set it up in less than 10 minutes, I am impressed. Very light but sturdy enough. Expandable as described and can be moved easily. I think this will work very well for my situation. Much easier than hammering a support for a background into my walls or ceiling.

Truth, I can set this up alone. But, it's much easier with two people. It does tend to run on the flimsy side while setting it up. However, I have zero complaints about it's ability to hold up the backdrop. I use a 10x20 backdrop and again, it's a bit rocky setting it up but once set up, it is sturdy enough and does it's job.

I take pics of items that range in size from 3 inches to almost 30 inches. As well as props & items to showcase these subjects in stories. With this I can set up a solid, or unique background and still have space for my props & subject matters to better tell the story. It will also help me in sale items too.
