I’m a newby to wigs. How is Simply stylin different than a leave in conditioner? Thanks!

Simply styling is made of pure silicone to restore wigs/hair from frizz. It gives wig/hair some shine, keeps it manageable and smelling good.

Ingredients: CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONOL, FRANGRANCE (PARFUM)

Is this oily in anyway, meaning does it leave the synthetic hair with an oily look/feel?

No, it won't leave your wig oily. You dont need much though, I actually saw video where the woman had a long hair wig and she sprayed this in the air then swished the wig through the mist, like you would do with perfume perhaps? I only spray it on lightly on the ends or the nape area or on my hands and then smooth them through the strands of the wig. Smells good, light scent that doesn't linger.

Can I use this spray as a heat protector for straightening when I flat iron the synthetic hair wig?

I would not use this as a heat protector for wigs. I use, and recommend Jon Renau Easihair Heat Treat Thermal Spray for human and synthetic hair.
