Very nice container. Seals great and arrived dent free. Paint is good. Not the greatest price but worth the quick arrival time. Lools the same as the original military containers. I bought many! Recommend!

I bought several ammo cans to compare, including this Tactical45 model, the Redneck Convent, Solid Tactical, and Harbor Freight models. I noticed with all of the others that the latch seemed to come undone a little bit too easily for my tastes. I was concerned that someone could be walking with a full case (heavy), holding it by the handle, and the force of gravity might somehow cause that latch to just open wide up and spill everything on the ground. The Tactical45 model is the only one that actually feels like really solid steel and with a latch that locks down hard so you know it's not going to open up randomly. You need to use some deliberate physical effort to open it once it's closed. The others can be opened almost with a flick of the fingers. I was surprised that the Solid Tactical model was so comparable to the others; I thought it was going to be a clear standout based on the thousands of high reviews and the premium price tag. My opinion is that you should save your money and just get this one. The Tactical45 seems4 to be the clear winner for me. I was also concerned with the Harbor Freight model that the latch, aside from seeming looses, was a bit wobbly and the metal of the little "wings" that hold it in place seemed to be actually somewhat soft. I was worried that with too much use, or trying to close without being perfectly centered, it might bend out of shape. So stay away from the HF cans. The $5 savings compared to this one $18 vs $23 at the time of this writing) is not worth it compared to the risk you might be incurring with respect to the contents of the can, which are probably worth way more. I didn't end up comparing, and have no experience with, the actual USGI models. Sportsman's Guide has mil surplus ones for $12-$13 but there reviews indicate that you're playing the lottery by purchasing those -- about half of them have serious issues with rust, denting, etc. I figured I'd just spend the extra money and protect my investment in the best-value, clean, new cans I could find. I think this is the one and I hope this review helps somebody.

Used several to store categories of tools and equipment--lighting, sharpening, batteries, etc.

The price point and quality is very good. I had ordered another brand that I had ordered before with good results. Ended up returning it because the hinges and sheetmetal was not square. I decided to try these and the quality was spot on, they are truly set up to be stacked and it was even lower in price. This is my new go to for ammo cans.

You can fit a lot of ammo in these and it has a great seal on it. I highly recommend buying this and I will be going to buy more of these in the future.

This was a Christmas gift for our son. It arrived well packaged and secure. It is exactly as described. It is strong and has a secure lock. The only down side that was noticed was that, when opened, it had a STRONG fish smell.... Not sure why. He washed it out, let it thoroughly air dry, then placed a dryer sheet in it for a week. That worked as far as I know.Would recommend

I had too many bags in my safe and needed better storage. These cans did the job just as I hoped it would. Affordable and fit perfect in our safe!

I have mine packed to the top and with all that weight the handle and latch hold with no issues.
