But it works, a great energy booster. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Inexpensive and indispensable energy drink mix for cycling *by M***C on 28 October 2023* I have never suffered a bonk since I purchased this powder on my longer rides >100km. The taste is perfect and makes the drink actually quite easy and pleasant to drink. On my longer rides I fill 2 x 750mL bottles with 1 scoopful (sccop is provided) ~50g carbohydrate powder and it will last me ~200km if I'm riding at an easy pace. If there are hills/mountains on the longer rides I need to double the amount, either straight into the bottle or preferably added as a powder to a fresh bottle of water. The proof is in the pudding and as mentioned above no more bonks, I'm able to maintain good form until the end of the ride. I also use the mix for training sessions on the indoor bike. 25g for light but long sessions and double that more for heavy strength-based sessions (high torque or sprinting at high wattage). I've noticed that my recovery on the following day has improved.
