**Q: would this be good as plate coasters?**
A: I guess.  They are 12in so they would be really large coasters.  Might I suggest our 7in craft records?  They might be more of the size you are looking for.

**Q: How big are they?**
A: 12 inch in diameter.

**Q: I am wanting to use some of these to shape into bowls.  do they work well for that?**
A: I am not sure they will work for that, I used them as plate mats.

**Q: Do the records play?**
A: Because they are an random batch of vinyls, it is possible some of them play, but very possible they could be damaged. I sell these for crafting so I do not test if they play.
