Some toilets have tanks that curve inward and would impede the WASHLETS ability to slide back onto the toilet. There must be a minimum of 2 inches from the seat mount holes to the front of the tank, and this 2 inches must be all the way across the width of the tank out to 8 inches. You cycle through the options manually at whatever length you want and hit the next feature button or the stop button on the remote to end a feature and push the next button in the sequence you desire. Usually, front or backwash, oscillation, then air dry and stop. It supplies warm water throughout either of wash cycles (front or back) and doesn't run out of warm water like other units. Everything is controlled via the remote which you can mount on the wall with the included bracket. **Q: What is the weight limit of this particular washlet? Would it support someone that is 500#’s +?** A: I would guess that it would not support 500 lbs. It isn't the sturdiest seat. I weigh 180 and the thing creaks quite loudly under me. Also, the way it attaches to the bowl makes it difficult to get a very solid connect -- so any shifting of my weight makes the seat shift -- more creaks and sometimes will even slip the feet off of the bowl. I have also owned a Brondell bidet seat. The Toto is better in every way except for the seat. The Brondell had a very sturdy seat. **Q: I have three water spigots behind my toilet. If I use the odd one, can the toilet be flushed normally bypassing the washlet??** A: Hello, The WASHLET will connect to the tank fill valve inlet with an included adapter.
