Purchased radio one year ago and did a firmware update to radio . Now radio will not start screen just black with no sound. UpdateContacted company and they are handling a return of the radio for repair

For the price this is a very good stereo. It has a bunch of features my wife loves it. She told me she wants to be herd coming from down the street and now she can. I added a amp and a 12 inch subwoofer. And now it thumps. It was easy to install. Just buy a wire harness so you can connect to all your factory speakers without having to run speaker wires. The face is easy to navigate. You can connect your android phone with the USB cable. So what is on your phone is on the screen. It comes up with a map and you can Navigate to where ever you want. She listens to either Spotify or sirrus satellite radio. Since this is a siirrus satellite radio ready receiver. You just need to get a sirrus antenna and a subscription and you can get it on the radio. What's a bonus is you get 18 pre set stations. My 2019 chrysler only gets 12. So jealous. Over all its definitely worth it. I also like the equalizer. Has a bunch of pre sets. But you can customize your own. Also has a way to cross over your speakers so you can cut the bass out of the so that all the bass comes from sub. So you don't blow your door speakers. Also has a subwoofer volume. This stereo has plenty of settings that you will enjoy this stereo.

Installed in a 2010 Ranger XLT. Bought the suggested wiring adapter which worked as advertised…did not need the suggested black side panels and bottom gap filler thing. Took a lot of work with a rasp and mouse sander to get it to fit, plus a lot of butt splice connectors for the wiring and some additional mounting hardware, but it seems to work…for now. If you’re not prepared to follow wiring diagrams or irreparably alter your dash…do not buy this unit. You’ll need the time and tools. The trim ring that comes with it sits a little proud and the microphone is just this stupid thing that you stick anywhere with double sided tape. All in all, this is a cheap option for someone fairly competent with a few hours to spare.

Read the reviews that did not rate this product so well and was hesitant. Finally decided to pull the trigger and bought it. I don't regret the purchase any. Sound quality is great paired with my rockville 6x9 triaxel speakers and the over all response on the touch screen is great. I put this unit in a 2006 F250 with a 5inch straight pipe that's just over the back axel. Still can hear the unit with the drone that comes in the cab. I would recommend that who ever wants one to pair it with the Sirus Xm, steering wheel controls and back up camera. Great unit!

This may not be the radio for the person with ultra-high audio standards, but for me in my Jeep it wonderful and has great features.

Radio would blow fuzes everytime

Self installed in a 2020 Honda Civic. Good radio for a simple replacement of the factory one. Android auto works well, sound is decent. I only had the basic stock honda radio before installing this. I just wanted something with basic features and this unit has that, but..............*After setting the clock to match my phone, it would all of a sudden be ahead and after a few weeks it would be 2 or three minutes faster, so i reset it back before it got too far ahead. then all of a sudden this week I went to go to work and the time had reset itself to 12am and the date back to the factory default, almost like the battery was taken out (it wasn't). Even though the time and date reset, my user sound settings were intact, radio stations still there and the music i play through a USB drive was still in the same spot.*does not work well with factory backup camera. Sometimes it doesn't even come on or can be very dark. No guidelines either*on occasion when starting the car the radio would come on even though I was listening through the thumb drive on the USB port when i shut it off.*this may be more of an annoyance just to me, but when I hit the back button on the screen when a song is playing on my thumb drive, it will only go back to the beginning of the song that is playing, it wont let you go back to any of the previous songs without going through the menus.**latest is when it’s hot out and I go to start the car, the unit comes on, music starts playing then it restarts by itself. It keeps doing this until I turn the volume down real low then it will stay on and I can gradually turn the volume up to where it was after a few minutes. It’s been to long to return it now.Unit is running the latest firmware and i used the recommended wiring harness.
