Q: What supplies besides the ribbon do I need?

Just so you know, this thing "the Hand" is magnificent! It takes a little practice, but it's great ! I use floral wire, 20-22 gauge to tie my bows. I do this because when you use heavy or wide ribbon and make very large bows, the ribbon has the power break the connections. But with wire this doesn't happen. Also the wire leaves you something sturdy to attach the bow with. Good Luck! Enjoy!

I made a bow on the widest setting and it is about 16 inches from one side to the other.

Q: What size ribbon would I use for this?

I use the 1 1/2 inch to 2 1/2 inch ribbon the most.

Q: How i buy the wire used in the instructions

It's called floral wire or paddle wire (I guess because of the plastic piece on which the wire is wound.) If you plan on making very small to super large bows, you may want to invest in a few gauges of wire. When comparing gauges, remember the lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire. I think the most common gauge for bows is 22 or 24 gauge. For hairbows, some use heavy-weight thread so the bow can be washed without risk of rusting, but wire also works.
