I smoke a pipe and this lighter is just right for the job. I like the soft flame, the appearance, and the feel - very ergonomic. Thought it might be too big for my pants pocket but it's not. I like this lighter a lot. Sept 2021 Update: Used this lighter pretty hard over the past months. It stopped sparking. I wrote to the seller. Guess what? They replied w/in 24 hrs asking for more details. I answered the same day. 24 hrs later they wrote back that a replacement was on the way. No request for old lighter back. No request to pay shipping. Just a compete hassle-free, stand-up transaction. New lighter arrived in 2 business days. 5-star service and 5-star seller. Well done!

I use this lighter for my pipes and candles. Once you fill it with butane (which you can get almost anywhere), it'll work well every time. I love the vintage look with the fake wood and how there is no flint. There's also an adjustable wheel at the bottom to make the flame bigger or smaller. It doesn't hold a large volume of butane so I find myself filling it up often but for me, that's not a big deal. Great gift idea!

The good part is that I like the weight, shape and pipe lighting style of this lighter. The bad part is that less than a week in using it, the soft flame was gone and I had to keep turning up the dial to get a flame which was larger than I wanted. I also have to click this several times. There is a certain way to push it down to get a flame and if it isn’t done just that way, it won’t work. Another problem is that when I’m filling it, the butane fuel comes pouring out the top of the lighter! I paid $17.00 and it’s not hardly worth that price with the poor precision of this lighter. There’s a years warranty for this, which I doubt that this will last that long, so I’ll see if it’s honored and update later

50% of the time TSA will stop to inspect this lighter. because it has a normal flame it is usually let through. On my last trip the TSA supervisor said that because it had a flame adjuster, he considered a torch and confiscated it (I had no other way to get it home).

I am ashamed to say I hesitated to buy this wonderful product because of some of the quality comments. I think this is the best product I’ve ever used and here is why… Economically - As a heavy pipe and b0*g smoker for years it saves me money. Bic lighters cost about a dollar. That means in less than 6 months I would have spend more money on Bic lighters than buying this cool lighter. Actually if it lasts a year which seems pretty standard from the comments voicing concerns then I would have saved about $30 which is not much, but a nice return on a low cost investment. Environmentally - 18 plastic lighters that will last in a landfill “forever” vs 1, mostly, wood and metal lighter. That’s a win. That more biodegradable option is the same size as less than 2 plastic ones… I’m not saying I’m saving the world, but that is a sizable difference. 9 times less trash is a pretty good improvement in book. Use/Style - The flame selector and flame position are perfect. The wood finish is awesome. I couldn’t tell from the pic that it is a brushed gold. I honestly am not wild about yellow gold to begin with, but the distressed look they use is a perfect complement. In my book; this is absolutely a 5 star product! Thanks so much YUSUD!!!!

Nice looking lighter..Worked great for about 3 weeks, now it will not light.Sparks and has fuel but will not light..

It did come well packaged which means it was packed in the state it is in. The quality of this is like a copy of a YUSUD. There is no name stamped on it and all metal surface are marked and finished badly. It does work and works well but would not make a good gift pics supplied

I’m glad I got this lighter. It has fairly nice wood and made of metal, it also feels strong and durable. The flame adjustment is really good, from zero to 2” tall flame. It fits nice nice in your hand and works great for lighting bowls. The 90 degree flame from Joe you hold is makes it super convenient. It’s well worth it. Burns a great bowl. Buying the gf one too. Maybe refinish it.

Super Feuerzeug, ist mein zweites, das erste funktionierte nach über einem Jahr nicht mehr richtig. Wird wohl vom oftem Gebrauch liegen, irgendwie innerlich verschmutzt. Hatte europäische teurere wo innerhalb kurzer Zeit den Geist aufgab mit der Zündung, hier keine Probleme. Kann es nur empfehlen. Kam glaube aus Amiland, war sehr schnell da, super

The lighter arrived but has been been previously used. 1. The lighter were full of fuel and lit immediately upon opening. Instructions say the lighter IS empty for safety reasons. 2. The brass components are badly scuffed and worn. 3. The filler stem within the hole is misaligned and difficult to fill properly and I fear it will easily snap off during filling because of its unusual placement and slight angle in the opposite direction. Wish it weren't so. Nice lighter otherwise. I fear I may not be able to refill it once tho, because of the bent stem.
