00620A2 Stainless Steel Oven Thermometer (150°F to 600°F)

Works! I got this one to see if my other oven thermometer was reading well. It turns out that it does however, I think this thermometer is a little better because the numbers are bigger and more easily read. I like it and if an oven thermometer is something you need, this is a really good one. The only downside I have is that you can't rotate the dial so that say 400 degrees is at the top. Not a real biggie with the larger numbers on it.

The AcuRite 00620A2 Stainless Steel Oven Thermometer has been a solid addition to my kitchen. It gives reliable temperature readings and helped me realize my oven was running a bit hot. The numbers are large and easy to read through the oven door, which is super convenient when baking. I bought this to check the temperature in my new stove. It worked great. It matched the heat the stove was set at. We did think it was heating right.

Not so sure about the accuracy. The reading is very different from my oven; it can be 20 - 50 degrees. I was expecting a little smaller discrepancy.

Much (much!) nicer than I would have guessed at this price point and a few of the comments. If you need to test your oven's temp, look no further. Well made IMHO, EZ to read and Oh yeah! I FOUND MY TOASTER OVEN WHEN SET AT 300 IS ACTUALLY 400+ Now this may explain the puddles of melted plastic. Clearly I don't have a brain. Yes, TV dinners etc don't belong in a toaster oven. I typically drop the set temp by 10-20 degrees. But I did not expect 100+ degrees off. This thing went nuclear. (My bad. I knew something wasn't right - DUH!) Would/will/shall buy again.

Easy to read and quite precise in it's reading. Love it!

The color hasn't changed or dulled with consistent use. The thermometer is not super accurate. It consistently reads 8-10 degrees (F) below the actual over temp (verified by two other thermometers). Its a decent value for the price. The stainless steel is easy to clean when it gets splashed.

Great oven thermometer! Like the size of the numerals and the handy cooking temperature tips. Also, it hangs nicely from the oven rack or can sit on the bottom oven shelf.

I needed an oven thermometer that I could actually read and this on by AcuRite is perfect. I have tested it against another thermometer I have (much more expensive with tiny, tiny, writing) and it appears to be acurate. I also, like the many different ways it can hang/stand in the oven.

Arrived quickly and seems to be working fine.

There's nothing wrong with the product, but note the dial is Fahrenheit, not Celsius. The description talks about Celsius which is what I wanted. I didn't think to look at the photo (my fault).
