Together with a fine needle-point glue bottle, my glueing woes are now over. The glue dries clear, and quickly, and it will stick most surfaces with no problem. If you get any over-spill from it, if you rub it away while it is still wet, it comes away absolutely cleanly. Left to dry, it will leave a shiny surface. The nozzle on the bottle is easy to open, simply by twisting the top a little, but it is quite wide and difficult to control, which is why it is best to decant the glue into a bottle with a finer tip for detailed work. For covering larger surfaces, the existing bottle is fine. The bottles are quite large so I transfer mine into smalller, more manageable sized bottles. I haven't used a fine tip with it but I would imagine it would be okay although it is a very thin glue ( not like tacky glue). Hope this helps. **Q: Does this have a strong scent? It would be helpful to know. Would petrol work?** A: If it’s oil based,use white spirit or turpentine. If it’s water based then use hot soapy water. That’s about it. Petroleum spirit is pretty dangerous and you can’t put it down a drain. That’s the safest way to do it. Petrol (gasoline) Is too volatile and it’s downright dangerous.
