This made of metal not plastic.Very good quality. I have installed a 1.8gpm shower head with a 1.8gpm hand help sprayer even with the back pressure from my shower heads this does not leak.Everything is nice and tight and the lever you turn to switch from the head to sprayer turns very easy.Might buy a second valve for when the day comes that this one wears out.

Beautiful and sturdy. Super easy to install, it came with everything you need to put it in. I had it sitting in my bathroom reminding me to install it, I was able to do so without having to go get any tools I thought I would need. Fast simple. Maneuverability is so much better than the plastic one that was there before. Great quality and value. Only one that included it’s own hand held shower head holder.

I’m only a couple of showers in, but I’m extremely satisfied with this product. It’s 100% metal, as advertised. I couldn’t find a single plastic bit on it. It didn’t leak at all on my first try installing it. It came with a couple extra rubber washers for attaching the hose. The knob to switch between overhead and handheld shower heads doesn’t click into place for the three settings—it turns smoothly from end to end. But the settings are distinct, and it doesn’t leak any water to the other shower head when you have it set to one of them. The ball joint for the handheld shower holder has a good amount of tension. It stays in place but it’s easy to move when you want to. I feel like I get good flow and water pressure when I have it set to use both showerheads—better than when I used the Wirecutter-recommended Moen 26008 combo shower head. Speaking of which, I bought this because a plastic piece on that broke. This is a much higher-quality part.The only downside is that it has the brand name etched into the top, but I can’t even see that once it’s installed.I don’t know why the review is asking about thickness lol but it’s thicc

I wasn’t sure this diverter was going to work with the large shower head I bought that I loved, but also needed a hand held. This diverter worked WONDERFULLY. It switches flawlessly from one shower head to the other, and you can actually have spray coming out of both at once! It went on easily, one try and absolutely no leaking! Highly recommend!

The valve that screws to the water supply swivels, therefore when you house the hose attachment in the diverter, the weight of the hose/head causes it to swivel and it falls out. I threw this in the garbage and purchased a different one that works correctly.It does allow you to add a hose but you can't house it there, have to let the hose hang from the diverter unless holding it in your hand.Don't waste your money.
