I chose these for the nice colors and the erasable tabs. I've already had to erase things twice, so that's a useful feature. The folders are sturdy and seem to be excellent quality. The per-folder price is higher, obviously, when you buy fewer, but I didn't need thousands of folders so this was good for me. I was also pleased to buy a made-in-the-US product from a woman-owned business. Win + Win!

I’m not fond of the plastic coating for erasing. I like the other paper versions that I can write on permanently for my yearly records. I really don’t see the point in having them be erasable. I think the ink would wipe off too easily just by daily filling. It would be nice to have more than 3- colors in the set. These are getting pretty expensive and very difficult to find this type of hanging folders. I like the built in tabs. Most have removable tabs that tend to fall out so these are great. Please take the plastic off the tabs, not very practical in my opinion as I write with permanent markers on the tabs. High quality thick paper stock. Long lasting. My go to brand.
