I don't think that they do. My cats didn't seem to get that crazed catnip look in their eyes when playing with them.

There is no opening. They put something inside these mice to make them rattle. The body of the mouse appears to be made of plastic.

They are hard - like a type of cardboard inside. They rattle. Some people have said they're plastic inside, but the mice I got were not plastic.
