Stealing Heaven: The Love Story of Heloise and Abelard Paperback – 2 September 2014

This is the 4th time I have bought this book, as keep lending it & never see it again, absolute favourite, wonderfully written, marvellously infuriating, so real. Just bought the last one for a friend instead of lending mine !!

I would like books to have a heads-up if they contain explicit sexual content; it may appeal to some, but it's not entertainment to me.

I love this book. Its one of my favorite stories and is so well written that I could not put it down. A beautiful rendering of a famous love story. Not at all mushy or adolescent. Very well done. This book will never be loaned out to friends because I want to be able to reread it at my leisure. Highly recommended.

For anyone who has interest in the story of Eloise and Abelard this will be a treat. A well written combination of mideveal romance, theology and philosophy, I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
