Bully's Pit Bull Collar, Dog Collar for Large Dogs, Heavy Duty Nylon, Stainless Steel Hardware (Large-1.5 Inches Wide, Orange Juice)

Our Rottie has gone through several lesser harnesses and collars. Not because he's an uncontrollable beast, but simply stronger than lesser quality products. We went with a medium 1.5" version for our 95lb Rottie. Right away the sturdy construction was apparent. Based on other posts we looked for any imperfections and found none. The double buckle and hole reinforcement should prevent tear out as we experienced with single buckle collars. The last collar we had lasted about 2 weeks before searching for a new collar and finding Bully. It seemed expensive at first, but after thinking about how many other products we've bought and have failed I wish I found Bully sooner. I would highly recommend Bully to anyone tiered of continually visiting to the local pet store for a new collar.Update Sept 2020 - Still going strong. Best collar we could have bought. It's softened up considerably and the holes we generally use show hardly any wear or stretching. I walk my dog at least 3 times a day and he's often on a runner so it gets put to the test every day. You can't go wrong with this sturdy collar for your sturdy dog...

We train our dog as a personal protection dog (Kinda like a police K9) This collar is pretty sturdy. Lugnut is about a 110lbs American Bulldog and we've had this collar for a good long time. It's hardly got any wear despite weekly training, multiple daily walks, and near constant wear.The melted holes are un-warped, still intact, with no cracking. The gear hasn't bent or become misshapen. As far as I can tell, none of the stitching has loosened or broken.There a bit of wear around the edges and some color fading but that's to be expected after multiple washes and as long as we've had it. It's still clearly red. So, it's hardly even a con.Needless to say the collar gets a good bit of use... We're petty happy with it.Check us out on Instagram, lol.@BoutThatLugLife

Love it. I'm a first-time dog owner at 55 years-young and I'm learning, just like with any products, that the dog world has both good and bad things for my awesome dog John Lennon...I can highly highly recommend these collars. I just received my first collar from this vendor and it is as good or better than I had hoped from all the positive reviews. The look, function, and materials are all top-notch. I'll be getting a couple more for sure. Thanks guys for making such a good product for Lennon. I might order the 1.5" width next time, but I am really enjoying the "chunky" look of the 2" width I got for my medium/large (70 pounds) dog...we are both very happy with this collar here on a Greek island! :)

my Akita has ruined every collar he has had, including heavy, thick leather and nylon collars. thats about six collars in five years. his last collar ripped through the buckle when he was tied to a well built dog run. he saw a raccoon in the neighbors yard and ran full speed at it. the heavy leather collar he broke was well built, but there is no comparison to this one. this thing has hard-wear that could probably hold a dragon.the picture used on amizon doesn't really show how beefy it is. i are seldom impressed these days, but this thing is serious.

Like many of the other reviewers, I was looking for a stronger collar to use with a tie out. My 85lb. pitbull had broken 3 collars before I bought this one. I got the 1.5" Medium and so far, I'm impressed. It's thick and wide enough that it shouldn't slide off and the D-ring is huge and very sturdy so no concerns about it bending. My dog is happy too because I was trying to get him used to a new harness, but he didn't like it and just kept sliding out of it and escaping the yard. With this collar, he can freely run around and play with his toys without getting too tangled up.
