I bought a pair in the US and they fitted so well and were very comfortable that I looked for a Briggs to buy from the UK and Amazon had them . Very pleased.

I ordered a 16 and they fit wonderfully except I need to hem them about 1 in. I'm 197 lbs and 5'4". Yes they have elastic in the waist but no one sees my waist. I always wear tunics or longer sweaters. The pants came out of package with a few wrinkles so expect to iron them. The tummy panel is indeed just a piece of thin polyester sewn in and serves no purpose. I love the pockets. The fact that they are high up instead of the side means they don't bulge out and make your hips look even wider than they probably are. I needed a pair of navy pants to wear with a pretty navy Laura sweater gifted to me. I hate wearing blue! So these cheap, comfy, flattering, though not top quality, are perfect for what I need.

Bought these pants for work. They are amazingly comfortable and fit well. Will definitely buy again when needed.

Apart from having to hem these, they fit well. I have heavy legs and it's hard to find pants that fit my legs, but these work!

not colorfast. white socks in the wash with these pants came put grey. the fit is a little big but acceptable. the pants pockets are either not functional or sewed shut for distribution. would not buy this item again.
