UPDATE: 3 years down the road in through Idaho winters and many miles and the cables are still holding up great. Where other jumper cables fail, these always pull through. I just purchased another set for a new service vehicle I have and they are the same quality as 3 years ago. Well worth the money! As a professional roadside assistance provider, I feel comfortable in saying these are the only jumper cables I will ever need. These are the most heavy-duty cables I have ever owned. My first test was on my own car, completely disconnected the battery and hooked the jumper cables up to the battery cables, car fired right up. Have used it multiple times since and haven't had an issue like I did with my old cables (had to wait a little for a car to charge). The quick-connect is a nice feature, especially when you are doing multiple jump starts a day. The length of the cables comes in handy, as some cars are parked in such a way where you can't just pull up in front of it. Installation was quick and easy, instructions were provided and were easy to follow.

Good Quality with very Strong Clamps and the LED Light at the end of each terminal clamp is an extra bonus...excellent idea for whoever came up with this. The 1-guage cable is still flexible enough to allow for rolling the cable up and putting it in the carrying storage bag that is provided. The 2-year warranty with a bonus add-on time period upon registering the product and providing a written review is also a plus. Would recommend purchasing this product.

Comes with everything needed to install. You will need to drill 2 holes to mount your connector. Nice thick quality cables with sturdy clamps. They can touch if you aren't careful on the pin that the clamp rotates on. I got the 30' cables. Plenty of length for all my needs and works great. Besides jump starts, we also make/program car keys and this is excellent for the vehicles with no/dead batteries that need full 12+ volts for an extended period of time to program them. I have an excellent jump pack but it can lose its charge when I have to jump many vehicles in a day during winter. Jump packs can also be slow to charge and bulky. The other advantage of this is I no longer have to open the hood to connect to another vehicle. Open hood obstructs my vision and my other lighting is blocked with the hood open. I am even able to jump vehicles from behind because the cables are long enough to go from the front of mine to the front of theirs making highway procedures much safer. When somebody sits with no gas or a flat for to long and the hazards kill the battery, I can safely get them going even if the jump pack is dead or there is limited room on the shoulder. Great, would buy again, I will be putting more of these on our other service vehicles.

They appear to be made very well and are of a much thicker gauge than most/all other jumper cables. I think they're a good bang-for-buck and I'm glad I got them, especially after having removed my lock tumbler and locking rod to install a Jimmi Jammer kit. However, it would be very nice if they were sealed off on the end of the connecter where the mounted cables go into the terminal/fitting, to prevent rain/water getting into it. I have a concern of having the cable ends wet, and needing to dry them first, when needing to jump another vehicle or mine. I mounted it how I thought was best for my diesel pickup, which was disappointingly with the rubber cap facing down. So, I put silicone sealant in the non-capped end and after day one of moderately heavy rain there was a bunch of water in the cap when I took it off to check. So, now I'm going to have to come up with a new mounting solution and I suppose probably apply new/more sealant. But, I like that they came with mounting hardware and they seem to be made well, without being able to test them out yet.

This is my second purchase of this product. It seems every vehicle I have has the battery terminals in some awkward place. Wouldn't you know it, when I purchased my latest vehicle, I'd forgotten to equip it with cables having a quick connect. Of course I ended up having to give a jump to someone and immediately realized my error; it was truly a pain in the rear. My new ones arrived the other day and will be installed as soon as the precipitation stops. This is a great cable and I won't have a vehicle without one. By the way, they work great for receiving a charge as well; I found this out after letting our elderly Express van sit for over a winter with an old battery. I believe the disconnect is far enough from the battery that there is no chance of explosion.

You see people with a thin set of jumper cables and just scratch your head. Not this set. These are quite robust and will definitely carry the amps from one battery to another to give that second battery a good jump start. What I really liked was the connections. Very well made and of a good size! This was not a low-end cheap plastic connector but it was a good size and will hold up well. There is even a bag providing various screws and terminals to get you were you need to be to hook this up properly. Highly recommend!

Might as well be commercial grade, which a good thing. Easy to install. Comes in a bag, which is also a good thing, to store the quick connect cables. Overall, great item for the price.

Nice and heavy cables. Bag is pretty handy too. Turned out we had to use them Xmas night, same night they were given as his gift, the lights didn't really seem to be that bright but considering we have never had lights on cables before that was really just a novelty part of it. Good buy!

Just received this pkg, replacing my previous system (was stollen) custom made, same guage, multiple quick connect for winch front or back, quality appears very good. Agree with a previous review, storage bag should be larger.

It's 50mm2 cable and handles current ok, the insulation is poor quality and not even around the cable, thins out where thr two wires are joined. I would separate them and put in split loom. Otherwise works well.
