Self Stirring Mug

Mug will not last beyond a week or few, even if you don’t wash it at all. Battery’s compartment is NOT watertight so once the batteries get wet (within number of days, weeks at most), you may send the item to the skip. It give it a year to see if it’ll get more life.I’ve had several of those before, tried magnetic mugs also - they may last few months (and have better performance) but it in the end, they all fail due to internal leaks. My believe is these should be offered on subscription.

My brother bought me one of these as a gift many years ago. Whilst i was never interested in the self stirring aspect (that's what spoons are for) i loved it as a coffee mug. As i drink my coffee slowly this kept it warm for ages for me (often popping to the shops to come back & find the coffee still warm after 30 mins) and the lid stopped me spilling coffee all over the stairs. So, needless to say i was gutted when the handle fell out of it the other day, i needed a new one immediately.. The construction on this one however is very poor compared to the old one. Both the top & bottom are very ill fitting & in general the quality is just poorer. I can't speak to the stirring action side of things as i will never be using it, but can't imagine it would be great or last long. My advice, seek out a better model (first World problems I know, but i do love my coffee experience)

Ended up pulling this apart and soldering the wires on to the motor as I thought it had broken. It hadn't broken... its just that if you use this with milk drinks the milk dries and the axle the mixer spins on becomes glued tightly in place and you think you've got a broken self stirring mug after one use! Almost binned it. Seems the device needs loosening up *every* time you use it so I've only given it 2 stars. It does work but its not a great product really. Good novelty.

Bought this item and a waste of money. By the time you put batteries in and have to keep washing it you need to be careful. Then mostvtume ut works on and off not great , more of an ornament

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a work colleague who never stirred his coffee. It actually works and does a great job with no spilling. He was so happy with it that I bought him another one after this one stopped working after about a year.
