I used it to protect my hair before pressing with a hot iron

I was looking for a grease that was in between a heavier pomade & an oil. The unscented/ light scent is perfect. Added bonus is that it protects against heat but I’m primarily using it as hair grease for my twist outs after applying gel. My hair stays moist and shiny for days.

I'm sooo happy I found out about this product. Its perfect for pressing/straightening my 3b/3c hair. I don't have to buy and waste money on a bunch of other products to straighten my hair, just need this. It will last a long time. My hair used to look so puffy after straightening it but this gets it smooth, shiny, and weighed down just the right amount! I used just a little the first time but now I think I can use a little more next time I straighten. If you use too much then it probably will make the hair look to flat, weighed down and greasy. The jar is bigger than I expected and for the price its really worth it!

Ordered this to press my hair with a hot comb. This product will provide protection for your hair from high heat temperatures, so it does work well and provides shine. It weighed my hair down and was a little to greasy for my hair, but that isn't to say that the product is not good, it's just wasn't for my hair type. So the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the greasing. Once applied to my hair it did last.
