Awful to get apart, first ones had to be sent back. Make sure if you are saving for a special gift to try to separate before return window ends!Tip: Use your thumb and forefinger between the two boxes on each side to press the two boxes apart. Make sure you go slowly and gradually on each side!Product itself is awesome once separated. My 4 year old loves collecting toads, frogs, and crickets and these allow him to safely carry around his amphibian and insect friends without harming them!

Bought the 2 pack for my son and his friend and they both love it to catch bugs, lizards and frogs! The handle it great for them to hold while chasing and catching whatever it is they are finding in the backyard! The quality is 4 out of 5. It’s sturdy but I worry it will break easily. Will update if quality proves to be poor!

My grandchildren catch all sorts of insects. The cage is perfect for children. It is sturdy and easy to use. We have 8 of them. Enough for all of their friends. It’s a great birthday party treat for the guests.

Smaller than anticipated and one of them came cracked.

These are nice items for the kids to collect, study, and keep bugs. This is my second try at the two pack. The first were so jammed one already had cracks and I couldn’t get them apart. Returned (easy process and the new item shipped quickly so kudos).These were also jammed together pretty tightly but after carefully pulling little by little, one side moved a mm then the other then 2mm etc. … finally got them apart. Clearly this is something to look out for.That said, the actual product is very good and the two pack is a good price. Just be aware separating them is tricky. They really should look into this as I bet they get a fair amount of returns because of this and it ought to be easy to figure this out.Anyway, nice product, nice price, not so nice they are jammed together.
