Guru Organic Natural Energy Drink with Green Tea & Guarana, Gluten Free, Vegan, 8.4 Fl Oz (Pack of 4)

I was looking for something that didn't have Taurine in it and I gave this a try. Not bad at all and wasn't overly sweet as some energy drinks can be. As for the energy part of it, I really didn't notice, but I can say it must have did what it was suppose to do because I did notice I wasn't as fatigued as I normally would be without drinking Guru. I would purchase again. Wish there were more flavors than just the four. Pretty good drink.

My item was stolen. It is the first time I had ever ordered from Guru. I know I really liked the flavor because I tried it at a club in Oakland just last week and was super excited to start ordering them on a regular basis. I gave a three star review because I couldn't find a way to contact Guru to tell them my package was stolen. I was hoping they would consider replacing it. Sigh. Even thought it's not their fault we didn't get it. Our roof caved in at our studio, so we were at the gallery all weekend working on fixing it and cleaning up the mess. That's my sob story.

There have been some modifications to the ingredients in Guru over the last several months and it went from a decent tasting drink to complete crap. Customer service reps at Guru do anything they can to avoid addressing the issue when you email them. It's rather hilarious. It's nice to see Amazon has taken down previous reviews as they no longer stand. Many friends hate the new taste and we thought something had gone wrong with the batch and contacted Guru directly. We were given the runaround and were sent a free sample. Well the free sample tasted just as bad as what we bought.The pictures of the can are incorrect. Salt has been eliminated from the product, which in my eyes is a good thing and thus the sodium levels have dropped. Whether or not this affects the taste, I commend the company on the change as salt is extremely unhealthy, but I strongly believe this is not the reason for the significant change in taste. Next, green tea has been added to the ingredients. Some people can handle it, others cant. But if you're drinking the new Guru and getting headaches, it could have something to do with the green tea. It might also explain the new bitter taste.You can tell if you're drinking a crappy Guru because it is labeled Made in Canada after the ingredients. Previously the product was made in the USA. No offense against Canada, it's a wonderful country and has great people, but this is a clear way to identify you've got your hands on the new disgusting version.Let us know when you get it right, Guru!

Don't let the "non-GMO, Organic, and Natural" label fool you, it actually has a nice taste for an energy drink... sort of a cotton candy vibe. The energy level is almost, but not quite jittery for me (I have a pretty high tolerance for caffeine) but if you don't drink them often start slow. It's closer to a traditional energy drink taste and kick wise vs many similar energy drinks in the organic/etc segment. You can drink one and stay focused to read up on the literature on why GMO's are safe, Natural doesn't really mean anything, and Organic doesn't have any health benefits, but will still probably come back anyway for the taste and caffeine punch.

I do like this energy drink. I'm just not sure why Guru has to add 21 g of sugar in an 8oz can! With energy drinks, if it's not too much of one thing it's too much of something else.

This energy drink is the best organic flavor I’ve had so far! After they discontinued Organic Rockstar, I hadn’t found another great energy drink until I tried Guru. This flavor is so good and doesn’t cause any jitters or stomach ache. 10/10 would highly recommend!

To me this product tastes like a watered down red bull. I actually drank a can and took a nap minutes later. needless to say this gave me no energy at all!

I had never had it before and Amazon used to have great deals on the 24 bulk packs of Guru, so I ordered this 4 pack to try it out. It was Amazing! My favorite tasting energy drink BY FAR. It gave me as much of a boost as redbull, amp, or any other energy drink really (they all seem to be about the same - nothing special - but enough to keep going). On top of the the taste and functionality, it's all natural! Not really a selling point for me so much, although I felt better drinking a more "natural" product, then another generally conceived "unhealthy" conventional energy drink. If you haven't tried Guru before, give it a shot! You will not be disappointed.
