I ordered the Ram-Pro Inline Spark Tester because I knew I needed to get my mowers ready for spring. I have a riding mower that cranks but will not start. This tester worked very well to show that I was getting current to my plug. Funny thing is the mower cranked better with the tester in place, than it did with the cable connected direct to the spark plug. The tester light is not very bright, so I performed the test near dusk for better visibility. If you work indoors in a shop, this shouldn't be an issue.

Seems to be well made. Not a lot to describe other than you clip it between the spark plug and spark plug wire, so simple to use. Good tool to have in your drawer if working on certain cars.

Handy... So quick and easy to verify the spark delivery system is working properly.

Beware you might feel a shock if you tough metal end and touching the car. It does show pulsing light but can only infer that pulses are coming through but we don't know whether these pulses are correct or in synchronous with the cylinder timing If you just want to test the wiring to a sparkplug then it works. 3.5/5
