## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any one knows if it's possible to use these horns (500Hz+600Hz) with stock wiring, relay, and fuse in Honda CR-V 2012?**
A: Yes, I replaced the stock horn in my 1998 Civic (drivers could not hear my puny OEM-horn on highways).  The horn works GREAT, and I am easily heard on highways now.

**Q: Is it acceptable to add these to the existing system or replace them?**
A: Can't tell you for sure. They are great for replacing existing horns, or for adding to a machine that had no previous horn. I guess you'd have to try adding them to an existing horn system. I don't know how you could damage the new horns as long as you wired them in parallel and not series.

**Q: Is this pretty much a plug and play for an 05 Prius?**
A: Probably, BUT..... I'd suggest looking at PIAA web site, and/or calling them and speaking with a technician.  I'm happy with this horn - installed and replaced in my car.

**Q: Are those ok for a honda xrv750 (rd07 africa twin)?**
A: OK ?????     You can bolt them on anything.  However consider NOT using the same wire that was for the original horn.  These pull more amps and they should be operated by a relay activated by the original horn wire.

PIAA 85112: love the sound and tone of these horns. Installed in a 2026 Toyota bZ—quick and easy install without cutting the original factory wire. Just needed to remove the wire harness tie-downs to get a little more slack for the factory horn wire.
