I wanted a budget music activated RGBIC strip to build some light bars with. The strips themselves are good and bright, good range of scenes and can link multiple strips up together. As my project was using them differently to intended I'll give them 5 star for their core use, but also found out the following via experimentation:- Can cut and splice them. The strips work in sections so just need to make sure you cut in the sections. A lot of the light features also start part way through the strip so you also need to factor this in when deciding where to cut. Can always solder extra parts of the strips back on though, have replaced certain sections when they broke.- Could only run 2 separate strips in parallel from one source. This includes where the controller splits into 2 anyway (I tried to wire 4, 2 per source but the colour control didn't work on one strip). I ended up using 2 controllers and putting them in a group on the app.- Groups on the app only work with Wifi - Bluetooth still works but have to control each one individually.Overall a good budget set of lights when used properly! My end product didn't turn out too great, strip isn't dense enough to create a premium feeling light bar but dense enough to light up a wall etc. when used as a strip.

The media could not be loaded. Superb quality, solid build, nice control features on the physical switch and within the app. Very controllable colour modes to create every conceivable mood from totally hyper to laid back and meditative. Notable within the app is the epilepsy warning feature. Greatly appreciated by myself as these types of flash sequences trigger migraines in myself. However, these were bought for my son's sensory / gaming zone and he loves the range of exciting sequences and the custom feature hence he's massively impressed with them. We found them really simple to connect to the phone to control them remotely and easy to apply to the wall surfaces with the very sticky backing and additional clips. It has a UK plug and although the cable isn't very long, it's long enough.Wishing I'd bought a set of these Govee RGBIC lights for myself instead of cheaper ones as these are really good and worth the extra few pound in terms of what you get in quality and user friendly features. The ambience and atmosphere in my son's room is astronomically better than in mine. My cheap led lights may be a little brighter but they are nowhere near as beautiful and simply cannot compete with these.Honestly, just buy them. You won't be disappointed.

Good LED light for your room

Best set of Led light's I have brought so far, I have a few Govee Products now & you cannot go wrong with Govee.Set up is easy & the app is easy to use also, but the amount of different scenes & light effect's it has not including the DIY option is amazing, I have 2 set's in my gaming/office room I got another set for around the window at Christmas & I just brought the TV version for my TV & all will be controlled by the easy to use app.I have mine with the Red, White & Blue colour's using the Siren scene which is one of many to choose one, have not got round to the DIY just yet but won't be long to I have a bit more time to play.Now compare to other set that have like a silicone cover over the strip's these do not.I have both set's connect together via the app so both set's do the same thing as they go around my ceiling, apparently the 10m version is 2 set's of 5m length's connect 2 physically together so you have 1 10m length is not really recommended by Govee as both set's have separate plug's & control boxes.But overall Govee are a great make the quality of the product's is great also in my eye's, the app is simple & connection to the app is simple too. All in all 10/10 from me & I hope I get round to buying more Govee light's, I'm sure I can think of other place's to install Led's so I can buy more. 😂😂 Just don't tell the wife. 😂😂.
