it does an ok job at fitting in most of the tools in this pouch, you do have to leave several spaces between tools every so often. This this seems fit more for pencils than it does for clay carving tools, since they can be slightly fatter than standard pencils.I don't think it would be much of a concern to be honest, the tools you'll most likely to want to carry with you will all fit in this pouch, and i wrap the larger tools in a carry case separately and this still allows me to wrap that inside here also once rolled up.
