I don't normally write reviews on Amazon items. You get what you pay for. But I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this piece of furniture. It's your typical kit style piece. However, it's higher quality than most. You will spend some time assembling it. My estimate is an hour and hour with a partner, maybe an hour and a half or two hours by yourself. The instructions were good and easy to follow. I would suggest as others have to install the lift top brackets to the base of the unit before attaching the table top, at least for a single person. It really all went together well, with no drama. All holes lined up properly and with plenty of extra parts, a bag full, nice touch. It actually came with a screw driver that you will want to keep in your tool box, also a nice extra touch in my opinion. The table is very sturdy after assembly. It's actually kind of over engineered for the price point. That's rare for kit furniture. As far as materials, I would say adequate to above average, especially for the price point. Nothing feels cheap. The finished assembly feels sturdy and robust. I'm not sure if they use an actual wood veneer or a synthetic laminate, but it looks like real wood when assembled, not too shiny like a plastic veneer. It seems to take wood oil nicely. I did assemble the unit with polyurethane glue in all dowel pins. It seems incredibly sturdy. The lift top mechanism works extremely well, and smoothly. The only real cons I can describe are that the drawers and interior bottom panels are "relatively" thin, but this is a minor issue at best. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and final product. It assembled without drama, seems extremely sturdy, and looks good when completed. What more can you ask for especially considering the price point? Highly recommended. (This is just my opinion btw)

I Really like this coffee table. It looks great. I chose it because it had drawers and the top lifted for storage and I couldn't be happier. It came with no defects, scratches, missing pieces and the directions were easy to follow. As a 63 year old woman, I had no issues assembling this table by myself. I did use a box to support one side when attaching the cover but the fit is pretty close so that was easy to do. A small tool is provided but use a small ended Phillips screwdriver instead, it will work much better. I definitely recommend this table.

This coffee table has exactly the features I was looking for - lots of storage, and sturdy enough to act as foot/leg rest. It was also economically priced. The coffee table was boxed well, but it was incredibly heavy. I struggled to pull it in the house after it was delivered (I'm a reasonably strong middle aged woman). I was intimidated by some of the other reviews stating challenges with assembly, but I consider myself reasonably competent at putting things together. So, I bit the bullet and unpacked the components. After confirming receipt of all the pieces (which were labelled well), I began assembly. It took about two hours (25 steps), and I was able to do all but the lift- top on my own. I needed a second set of hands to help lift it on and hold it steady while I screwed in the hardware. The finish is quite nice, and I only noticed one blemish on one of the legs. It is not noticeable, so I am not concerned at all. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality, features, and ease of assembly. The only reason I didn't give the table 5 stars is related the lift-top. It does require two hands to move, and doesn't feel as "solid" as I'd like. I worry that it may be too flimsy to stand the test of time.

Putting it together was pretty easy, with good instructions. Pat attention and follow instructions closely! At first I put the top in the wrong mounting holes but it was easy to correct. Once I finished assembly, it is good and solid. Everything fits together tightly so there is no shakes or rattles. All in all, a nice addition to my living room.

Bought this coffee table for the storage + lift top. It’s a great color! I was worried about the sturdiness of the lift top when assembling, but as long as you lift with both hands, the table is PERFECT - it’s only a little wobbly on the lift/descent because of the hinge. Once it’s fully lifted or lowered, it’s 100% sturdy and I feel confident about working and eating at the table. Assembly wasn’t too bad - had the help of my boyfriend (who refused to use the wood glue on his pieces 🙄).I feel like the screws, pegs, glue, hinge, drawers, and most of the wood is very high quality! The flimsiest piece is the bottom of the drawers + bottom of the main compartment. Those are very thin and flimsy, which I suppose is how the cost was kept down. I wouldn’t drop a hammer into the drawers, but if you’re storing things like board games or even plates, you should be totally fine. There was no visible damage, scuffs, or marks on any of the pieces - and even if there were, the product comes with little stickers to cover up screws that you could totally use on marks!Overall, I’d say this is a 10/10 product for your money! One of the best furniture pieces I’ve gotten from Amazon.

This coffee table is wonderful. Had no trouble at all putting it together. It took about 2 hours to fully assemble it. There were no missing pieces, in fact they sent a packet of extra pieces. The color I chose was true to color in the picture and matched almost perfectly to the other furniture I have in my living room. The top comes up so easily and the drawers pull out smoothly. It looks beautiful in my living room and the quality is very sturdy. Plenty of room in the drawers to store things as well as the open shelf, and the hidden space under the top. I would highly recommend this coffee table to my family & friends. It doesn't look like cheap material, it's sturdy & you can't beat the price.
