I bought this protective case for a Moto Z Play phone. My husband keeps the second battery on his phone which means he isn't using the Otterbox heavy duty protective case he has always used for his phones. The extra battery makes the phone too heavy to carry in his shirt pocket. It either rips his pocket or is constantly falling out when he leans over while working.In the 20+ years we've used cell phones dropping them has always been an issue. Especially when his phones end up in mudpuddles, commodes, washing machines, or any other body of water he gets near!This case is waterproof and yes, we checked it prior to using it, as the manufacturer suggested. The case locks closed and has a very sturdy lanyard. It does not muffle the ringtone. It can be used while inside the case, plus my husband has a screen saver on his phone so there is an issue of extra thickness separation for touch usage. He does prefer taking his phone out of the case when taking a call.Anyway, this case works great for what he needs. He loves it so much I ordered additional cases for future use. So often when we find an exceptional item it disappears from the market. He didn't want to take a chance of that happening to him.We also plan to use these cases for our vacations, like shore excursions when cruising. There is plenty of room to carry money, credit cards, roomkey cards, etc.We highly recommend this case.

We took these on our honeymoon to Mexico. I used it when we rode the ATVs (SUPER DUSTY), on a catamaran, snorkeling, and just swimming in the ocean and pool.Pros-High quality materialVery cushioned so it keeps your phone protected100% waterproofThe latches to keep it closed are not easy to open, which is a good thing because you won't accidentally open it in the waterThe lanyard is very secureThe carabiner has one of those screw things to keep it closed and it doesn't unscrew easilyThe picture quality is amazing! You can't even tell that there is another layer of plastic.The screen is easy to use (outside of the water)Cons-Our room was very humid and some of that moisture got inside the case so out in the hot it fogged up inside and it was very hard to dry out. Although that's not really the cases fault, I think it would have been the same for any other case.The only other Con that I can think of at this point is that I could not take pictures underwater. The water pushed the plastic up to the screen and it wouldn't recognize me touching the screen. It did take videos if you pushed the button when the phone was outside of the water.

This case is most useful in dark places & night because it glows enough to spot it (if you couldn't see the screen when as illuminates). It works well in water and floats which is great if the strap should break or if it wasn't around your neck. It is rather large with a sturdy strap secured by a solid hook. I took a picture the white sheet is a piece of printer paper.

I debated about spending the money on a big bright case for my phone, but so glad I did! We went to Costa Rica for a week and I used it every day! I used it for water slides, hot springs, zip lines, sauna, mud treatments, beaches, you name it! It protected my iPhone 7 plus with a case perfectly! We took some amazing pictures and videos in places you would otherwise never dare take an expensive phone. Totally worth the money! Can't wait to use it again this summer in the pool, let the kids splash and have fun! The bright color helps you find it easily and it floats! FYI You cannot use the home button so you will need to turn on the assistive touch button in settings, general, accessibility. Hope this helps!
