They worked AMAZING the first few times I used them, then one stopped working, got stuck, started leaking black nasty when I tried to get it working.......that 1 I had washed in the dishwasher top rack (it is supposed to be dishwasher safe). I then started using th other one and same thing, stopped working but I ONLY hand washed it.....so I took them both apart and the spring in the handle TOTALLY corroded and rusted.....I contacted Amazon and they where AMAZING as always and immediately gave me my money back but still, these are not made to last. She cannot hold or control and electric mixer and she loves pancakes. This seemed like the ideal solution. It is a simple machine, no electric parts at all. You push down and the blades spin. You control the speed. Would have liked one small and one larger for heavy duty work.Also after washing in the dishwasher, I found brown residue leaking from the inside of the handle where the stick goes in. I was able to pull out the handle/spring and dry it with a towel. But it is a hassle.I think for the price it is a good buy.
