Fits properly and very functional

The lens hood is perfect for my canon rf 85mm. Ive gotten lens hood from this bramd before and its just as good as the canon ones. i mean if you want to spend 50 bucks on the canon branded hood, just to have the logo and match your camera...then go ahead. But im telling you this plastic is just as strong for a quarter of the price. it attaches nicely to the lens with a satisfying click no matter what orientation you lock onto your lens. Mind you, i have a Canon EF 17-35mmm f4 that came woth the canon brand lens hood and although ita great quality, something like this lens hood from a 3rd party is more than adequate to block out lens flare and protect your lens. At 12 bucks....just do it already.

This is a perfect fit for the Canon RF 85mm F2 Macro lens! Seems to be well made.

After a 6 week delivery from China the LH arrived today. Fist impressions - well made, good value for money. Has proper latch like the Canon hoods. Fits fine, maybe marginally loosely, except does not fully click into place in the REVERSE (storage) position, but is still retained on the lens. There is a small ring gap around the mount which will not limit its effectiveness, and the red index mark to show where to fit it to the lens is difficult to see, but those are all minor quibbles.

Great product

One of the things that drives me nuts about Canon is that after spending $800 on a lens, I still have to buy a lens hood for non-L lenses (in my case a Canon RF 24-240 which I love). This is my first third party lens hood and this looks and feels good and installs without any issues. A lot cheaper than the Canon hood, and I’m confident that it will protect my front element from any accidental damage.

It is just like the Canon hood, for much less. Attaches both forward and backward. Canon’s were on back order. So glad I found this instead.

Acheté pour un Canon Rf 600 f/11. Il fait ce qu'il est sensé faire. Se met en place aisément. A un bouton de verrouillage, peut être installé en position inversée sur l'objectif et ne nuit pas à l'utilisation de filtres du format approprié.

Canon does not provide a hood with this lens... In wildlife photography, I believe a hood is absolutely necessary. Original Canon hood is rarely available, this one from JJS is very nice, does a job at reasonable price.

The hood that I purchased fits well and is the same design as the original Canon one at a far better price.

Works well. Canon cheaped out not supplying this with the lens. Don't buy the much more expensive Canon one.
