Excellent kids early reading
This set has been great for my 7yr old to get into reading. There are some words that he needed help with, but ultimately, he did well with the first 12 of this series.

These books are great!
I have been reading this series to my daughter since she was 5. Just bought the set for my nephews 5th birthday. The series takes uYou on adventures through time via a magic tree house. The first book Annie and Jack travel to see Dinosaurs. There are over 40 books total and are great first chapter books. My daughter now reads them on her own.

Great first chapter book series
This series is an excellent one for beginning readers. The adventures hold children’s interest, and are at a suitable reading level for early independent reading of chapter books. My granddaughter loves them!

Great first chapter books!
These books are GREAT. They're easy to read, but not dumbed down. The characters have adventures, but they're "not too scary" (a high compliment from the 8-year-old who made me turn off Frozen). They give interesting glimpses into history and different cultures. They make really great first chapter books! I started out reading them at bedtime, two chapters at a time, but that apparently wasn't fast enough, because they disappeared into the kids' room and two days later they demanded I order the next four.
