Never thought that I would need one of these but tough meats and chicken breasts no longer stand a chance. The weight and handling are perfect and it is solid.

I'm new to cooking and wanted to try recipes ( pork schnitzel, chicken marsala) that required pounding the meat to even thicknesses. The hammer surface is pretty large and has a good weight making the task quick and easy.

it is a little on the weighted side but it seems weight is in the handle and not on top.

I got this meat tenderizing hammer to tenderize meat and I’m really happy with the product very easy to clean powerful gets the job done and you get a soft tasting steak in the end if anyone needs a tenderizer this is definitely the go to looks beautiful in the kitchen and like I said easy to cleanYes your kids will think this is Thors hammer but nothings perfect.

Great tenderizor

I chose this item specifically because of its one-piece design and the fact that it's steel. It does a great job of flattening chicken breasts easily, and it washes well in the dishwasher.

Sterile one-piece stainless steel meat tenderizer makes fairly quick work of meats, nuts, etc. I'd get one a little larger and heavier (if available). But one piece construction does limit the number of nooks and crannies that can hide and collect nasty food debris during cleaning. Do scrub the textured side of this tenderizer with a stiff brush, because this surface does collect food matter.

This tool is made from a single block, it looks beautiful and, best of all, it is dishwasher safe.

This product is chrome plated, definitely not stainless steel... I should have known, just from the pictures. Impulsive buy...
