The butterflies work well as a quick and easy decoration. They come flat, so you have to slightly bend them yourself. I broke the first one in half because I wasn't gentle enough. They look and feel like thick paper. We did not eat them, although I did sample part of one. There is no flavor and it does feel like eating actual paper. But it is at least meant for consumption if desired and looks fine as a decoration.

The butterflies are very cute, and not at all offensive tasting. They really have no taste at all, so they don’t interfere with the icing or cake flavor. They also soften and kind of melt easily when you chew them so they were perfect for the elderly person we decorated the cake for. 10 out of 10! I will definitely buy these again!

These were super cute and the colors were on point. I had just hoped they would be more sugary or sweet. Even though they are “edible”, I would not eat these. Only decorate with these. They tasted horrible, but on point for the decor! 4 stars because they were really cute!

I purchased these adorable butterflies to put on cupcakes at a party. They were a big hit, everyone loved them. But they didn't know they were edible, and started taking them off. When I said, no, you can eat them, they're edible, like a wafer. Everyone was like, "WHAT, you can eat them? Where did you get them?"
