I drive older cars and tow trailers and cars. I wanted a backup camera that Is easy to install, easy to move to a different car, or place on the back of something I am towing. I also wanted something easy to maintain and use. This product met those requirements. It installs on the license place with two screws. It took three minutes to install and can be moved easily. The camera is WIFI and comes pared to the camera so no configuration is needed. The camera comes with an internal battery that remains charged for a year and the same cable that is used to power the monitor also is used to charge the battery when needed, so easy to maintain. The camera has a 170 degree view which makes it easy to see folks walking through a parking lot and helps navigate in heavy traffic. The monitor is clear and easy to see. I do not care for products that do not work out of the box. This camera system performed as expected, met my requirements, and worked the first time. Great Product.

I purchased this backup camerra system in September 2022. It was advertised as having a warranty of "up to 2 years." The 2 year warranty played a major part of my decision to purchase it. It was very easy to install and had a great picture. In April 2023, less than 6 months after the purchase it stopped working. I contacted eRapta via e-mail and was provided the same information that was on the installation instructions. The instructions do not fix the problem. I have sent eRapta 3 additional e-mails that have not been answered. Now eRapta's website says they will only refund or replace within 30 days. I cannot recommend that as the company will not stand behind its so-called 2-year warranty.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall a decent unit. Installed some Velcro on my truck so I could put it just above my bed for backing up to a gooseneck. All I have to do is have a strip of Velcro on a trailer, and I can pull it off and have it on back, easy as that. It doesn’t have a light on it, but it was surprisingly bright at dusk. I didn’t like how weak the magnet for the monitor was, but it should be enough to keep it there, I just wanted it to be stronger. Comes with two buttons to activate the backup. While I do like this option, I would like there to be a more integrated way to activate, such as putting the truck in reverse. I would also have liked the option to hardwire the monitor in, but that could be done with aftermarket parts. You can power the monitor with a power bank, and the camera is wireless, so you could put this to many different uses indeed. The monitor can be flipped four different ways, so no need to worry about getting it installed upside down. The range on the camera to the monitor is really great, I don’t think you can get a trailer long enough to be out of its range. This unit came pre paired to the monitor as well, reducing hassle there as well

I was looking for a backup camera for an older car and I didn't want to mess with wiring it into the car backup tail light. This looked very simple and easy so I made the purchase. The instructions are HORRIBLE. I was not sure if I need to charge the camera before installation. So, I did charge it. There are no instructions on how long to charge it. After 5 hours and countless web search, I decide it was good to go. The install was somewhat easy as it is hard to see the screw hole because the camera is bucky. You can't adjust the view of the camera once it is installed, so if you have license plate that are very deep, the car does block part of the view.

stopped pairing about 6 months ago! for $200 price tag I'm very disappointed!

The camera is an easy install and the picture quality is good for what I needed it for. However, in the settings, you have to pick how long you want the camera to stay on: 30, 60, 90 seconds. I needed it to be continuous since I was towing a ‘ 27 travel trailer and passing can be tricky when driving alone- even with great mirrors. Also, the connection is a bit delayed so if you need to see what’s behind you in a hurry, the camera is in no rush.Overall I love the concept, it just needs a few tweaks to get it perfect.

I bought this to use on a motor home that didn't have a backup camera. Very nice that I didn't have to run wires at all. Works well. The suction cup mount does very well on the window, not so much on the dash as it needs a smooth flat surface and I don't have that other than the window.I had one issue where it wasn't retaining the flip setting for the display when it was powered off and then back on again. Contacted customer service. They responded with a couple of questions and then sent me a new unit. The new one works perfectly.I like the product very much and it was a very reasonable price.One note: the camera is meant to mount to a license plate or something similar. As such it's a slim horizontal rectangle. The flip settings mean you can flip left/right or up/down but there is no setting that would allow you to mount the camera bar vertically instead of horizontally. In that orientation you would always be looking at a sideways picture, regardless of how you flip it. Not a defect - you just need to be aware that the camera bar needs to stay horizontal.

This camera dies within a few months. Now doesn’t even hold a charge. Not able to replace the battery either. How a company can advertise 400 battery days for a faulty product is beyond me. Not easy to return/replace it or get help either. Look elsewhere.
