A must!
My son loves this book, he loves facts and finding out the why behind something. This book has really interesting facts, in good sections, with illustrations suitable for the age. My son is still re-reading it 11 months on.

My grandson was so excited when he got this for his birthday he ignored opening the rest of his presents. Although I was pleased had to say you had better open your other presents and keep that for his read before bedtime

Amazing
I absolutely loved this encyclopedia of facts, which is for children, but people of all ages will enjoy it, like I did. It is jam packed full of interesting and amazing information, such as different facts about the human body, nature, animals, history, science, space etc. I learned a lot from it and I was surprised to read a lot of information that I hadn't already known. I highly recommend this wonderful book to children and adults, as there is something in it for absolutely everyone. It is such a stunning and beautiful book, which is comprehensive, but still easy to read.

A Fascinating, Unique & Entertaining Way to Learn Some Useful Factoids
The Encyclopedia of Unbelievable Facts is a superb book for both kids and adults alike (although it is recommended for children aged 7-9 years old) with so many intriguing, odd and unique questions posed followed by the fact as the answer. Let's face facts, facts are just fascinating especially the unbelievable ones. They open our eyes, they boggle our brains and they help us to impress our friends and families. If you're a philomath - that's someone who loves facts - and you want to be a pantomath - that's someone who knows everything - then this is the book for you. This encyclopedia is bursting with 500 facts on a variety of subjects and many of them are unbelievable, make you think and inspire further curiosity.Split into 10 neat sections with each packed with 50 fascinating facts, the chapter titles are as follows: Introduction, Human Body, Science + Tech, Animals, Natural World, Space, Mindbending Stuff, History, Customs + Cultures, Our World and Arts + Entertainment and a jargon buster follows these to help with tricky words for younger readers and fact-finders. Many of the facts are complemented by charming images hand-drawn by Illustrator Louise Lockhart and provide a pleasant, vibrant finishing touch. This is an accessible, interesting and informative book that provides useful facts in bite-size, digestible chunks and is perfect for dipping in and out of and to be read either alone or with a parent. A versatile, entertaining and enjoyable little book. Highly recommended.

Full of fabulous facts!
Have you ever wondered how much a cloud weighs or when you should worry if you smell bananas? The Encyclopedia of Unbelievable Facts by Jane Wilsher is full of answers to questions like these and is sure to be a hit.It contains so many interesting and incredible facts to pore over and the accompanying illustrations by Louise Lockhart are delightful. I really liked the inclusion of the ‘how to read this book’ page and the clearly organised chapters. This is a fantastic book that children will love to revisit time and again and I can’t wait to share it with my class.
