Great chair, built good and the fact it sits higher than other chairs is perfect for me as im taller.

I'm a pretty big guy, 5' 10" and 290, and I've been looking for a new lawn chair that can support my weight, and can travel with me to outdoor concerts and other events. My previous chair was an old-style lawn chair, metal tube legs and canvas mesh seat and back. It was light, easy to transport, and it lasted about 12 years before the canvas started coming apart last year. But they don't make that style any more, at least not in a heavy-duty model. So I did some looking around and settled on this model. It arrived earlier today and I've been sitting in it for about an hour and I find it very comfortable. It's a little higher off the ground than most chairs, and the seat is quite firm - it doesn't sag when you sit down. This makes it very easy to get up from the chair, which is a real perk for a 60 year old, overweight dude. The chair is fairly heavy, and quite big, but I had no problems getting it into and out of the bag. The locking mechanism works well so far, and there is a strap on the chair, so you may not even need the bag for transport. The chair also has cup holders on each arm, and there is small zippered pouch that hangs on the right side of the seat that could fit some combination of cell phone, keys, sunblock, bug spray, or whatever. A nice touch. Anyway, day 1 rating is 5 stars for sure, we'll see how it holds up over time, but I'm optimistic.

I've been looking for a folding chair which is reasonable lightweight, durable and comfortable. This is it. A friend turned me on to this product and I ordered one immediately (after sitting in his). First, this isn't like most folding chairs. It actually supports your seat and back. When in the open position, the seat is firm. You don't have to fall out of this chair to stand up like most folding chairs. And it locks in both the open and closed position, so there's no chance it will collapse and it's easier to get in its bag. This particular model chair is oversized, which means if your are big and/or tall, you'll fit. It has larger feet than most chairs, which means it will support more weight on softer ground without sinking. It also has a zippered pocket on one size and dual, oversized cup holders. The fabric is a heavy duty nylon much like you find on well made backpacks. If you want a chair that will last, this is it. Quit buying those $10 chairs from the big box store which only last one or two outings. Spend a little more and get a lot more chair.

Very sturdy and very comfortable chair. Great for us big guys. The locking feature and carry strap means you can tote the chair around and not have to fight with the carrying bag - and we all know what a hassle that can be. The strap could be a little longer, and be aware that it's about 3 lbs heavier than the standard (and also very comfortable) size chair. I like it.

My sister got these for my parents almost a decade ago if not longer. After sitting on our porch all that time Thru all the elements and moisture Florida can throw at them plus a porch that floods everytime it rains. They just finally now started to rip a bit in the seat area. Not enough for my fat a$$ to bust Thru but enough that it was coming time to replace. These sit high and are so easy to get out of. They are comfortable and not slouchy like normal camping chairs. I love everything about them and they make fantastic beach and patio chairs. My dad was tall 6’1 and I’ve had very heavy people (at least 400lbs) sit in these chairs not a give or away about them. Just phenomenal durability for our house. I hope they never stop making these.

These chairs are incredible for tall people. I did a ton of research on size, support, durability, and price and these were the top of the lot. They allowed me (5’11”) and my husband (6’5”) to sit comfortably the fire on our camping trip for hours! I was even able to sit cross legged!

I am 6'4" and 320lbs. I am very happy with this chair. I have a friend who bought the smaller chair and I sat in it. It was fine, very comfortable, but I ordered the big one. It is a big ol chair! Very comfortable. The cup holders are beer can sized and large mug sized (30 oz yeti fits perfect!). Chair is solid with a locking feature in closed and open mode. Very impressed with the quality and happy I ordered it!

Even though I knew this chair was big, I didn't expect it to be THIS big. It's absolutely wonderful for my 6'2" husband, but for 5'4" me it's definitely a bit large. It's still very comfortable, but my feet do dangle. It's also quite heavy so may not be good for long treks.

I got this to use on a weekend getaway where we had to attend a picnic. I wasn't sure if this was going to live up to its description but it definitely did. It was very sturdy and unfolding it took no time at all. I didn't expect the chair in the carry case to be quite so tall but given how awesome it was that was of little consequence. It had a bit of a weight to it but my wife was able to carry it with no problem so most people should be okay with it. The carry strap came in handy as well. I know I am going to get a lot of use out of this chair. It looks nice, it performs well, and great value for the money. It didn't wobble or sink my butt to the ground and it's pretty comfortable too. My wife got a different model and it was excellent too. Trustworthy brand. I recommend this chair for camping, outdoor events, pretty much anywhere you might need portable chair.
