Both flasks are defective and will not be able to distill anything without exploding. This entire set is not good. This was obvious to the seller that put it in the box in the first place. 0/5. Unless this is fixed, this was a total scam.***** Edit* a no cost replacement was sent in exchange for the original defective set. This video is the new one, I can only post one video apparently. It is a thicker mould and should perform satisfactory, despite the bubbles in the glass. There is visable condensation, due to arrival in the snow. It seems the seller has different qualities of sets. If you get an inferior product, absolutely replace it. Rating changed to reflect the replacement.*
Review: I can’t confirm the glass type, but it seems to mostly be sturdy and strong, except the 1000ml flask arrived scratched near the neck, and cracked when it was heated. However even when it cracked, it remained mostly intact and nothing spilled- I have so much more faith in the glassware. The seller responded quickly, and was very helpful and immediately offered a replacement, however the replacement also broke for similar reasons. On a budget I think its decent compared to more well known brands which can cost 3-4 times as much, and I recommend the seller.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this come with a stand?  Does it come with a heat source or Alcohol lamp?**
A: No it doesn't Jon. It comes only what you see in the picture. But I strongly recommend it to you if you are interested. Good borosilicate glass and good silicon tubbing (only 2 meters long!)

**Q: can this glassware handle a vacuum?**
A: Yes, I've used it with a water aspirator with no problems.

**Q: is there a guide on how to setup the destiller to get essential oils?**
A: Not a very good answer. I can't remember ever seeing a system of products without some sort of set up instructions or photo of the complete system. That is a disgrace. Just because I am not a chemist shouldn't mean I cannot extract my own aromatics.

**Q: How long is the Liebig condenser?**
A: about 11 inches, not including the end fittings.

Well made. Better weight and quality glass than expected for the money. Looks very capable of producing essential oil from my overgrown rosemary bush(tree), the big question now is can I get it to. The 1 star for presentation was it was pack Against any breakage, do Not unpack in a hurry. I think it would have survived falling off the truck at 70 mph. Very well done.
