Works great, easy to use, heats up fast. Used it to repair a cracked car bumper. Use as many fasteners as you can fit and try not to burn through the plastic.

This is my first plastic welder it comes with lots of wire welding pieces I only gave it four stars though cuz the case is pretty cheapy and it's very hard to close it with all the little baggies of welding wires also I thought it would come with some fittings for the iron to smooth out plastic or to add plastic but I guess that was a different model but this seems to work well I've already used it a few times on a few things that I was going to have to throw away and it has repaired them

This is the coolest tool I've seen. I bought it because I was at a friend's house hanging out in the garage and he had a thick plastic wheelbarrow with a large crack in it. He broke out the plastic welder and my jaw dropped, I didnt know this existed. Needless to say, he got free labor on the repair because I enjoyed using it so much. When I was done with everything you could barely tell it was ever damaged at all. I bought one for myself and have only done one repair. It was a plastic wheel on my work toolbox with a broken core. Its repaired, but ugly so no pic. The bottom line is its a fun tool to use, really inexpensive for what it does and its pretty easy to use. I definitely recommend every DIYer get one of these.

I only used it to make one repair and it worked perfectly. Fused together a cracked plastic lid on a tool box. The handle is part of the lid. So it takes some abuse. This tool bonded the split piece back together. Heated up instantly.

The build quality seems good. There's a good variety of staple of different shapes. I had to repair a "blue box" (recycle bin" where the corner cracked. I was frankly surprised just how well this worked. With the different shaped staples, I was able to repair the large crack and return the plastic back to its original form. The only downside with this kit is the little side cutters. It is too small and weak to actually cut the staples' legs. I had to use a proper set of side cutters to cut the staple legs. As it's impossible to cut below the surface, I did have to use a grinding stone on a fast drill. This worked perfectly and zero sharp edges remained. I do recommend this product.

My bumper was cracked and I used this plastic welder to repair it. It worked incredibly well the staples melted in cleanly and held everything together solid. The repair feels strong and durable, and I’ve had zero issues since fixing it. Super easy to use and definitely worth it if you’re dealing with cracked plastic parts
