If you have room in your case, this is a fantastic solution for cooling a powerful cpu. I have made the mistake of trying another cooling solution twice and need to stick with these noctua's -- once was an AIO (pump failed 3x; twice warranty and 3rd just outside) and once I went for a full custom water loop (EKWB used differing metals for their plugs and other components in the same product line, which corroded and was more hassle than it was worth). If you are looking for a no frills, gets it done, reasonably quiet for the performance cpu cooler and have the room, look no further. Plus Noctua sends updated mounting brackets (for free!) when new cpu models are released. Can't ask for more.
