We have used HDX water filters for our refrigerator and been very satisfied, however this purchase was a waste of $59.99. After the first filter was installed and the water was run we found charcoal pieces floating in the water. After running the water repeatedly there were more and more bits of charcoal in the water. So we replaced it with the second filter, ran the water and found charcoal floating in the water again. At that point, after running gallons of water through our refrigerator we put the old filter back in. I guess you get what you pay for, we will be purchasing genuine GE water filters from now on.UPDATED 8-15-2020I spoke with Amazon and they put me in touch with BMC Electrical Wholesale. I emailed with Mich at BMC Electrical Wholesale and within less than a week a new set of filters was sent to me. After installing the first of the filters I have found that my water runs clean through these new filters.Many thanks to Mich and the people at BMC for standing behind the merchandise that they sell.

It was easy to I stall and I liked that I had one on standby when the other one went out. It seems it got used up fast though. I will have to look up when I got them.

Not much to say to describe this product except it's a great price compared to other options.

This water filter is the perfect replacement filter for our refrigerator. It was very easy to install. Amazon's price is $5.00 cheaper then the exact same double pack sold at Home Depot.

I get two of these for almost the same price as one name brand. It works just as well as the name brand with the water tasting great. It removes the chlorine smell too. I've been using these for years.
