This snoot is built as well as the professional snoots I have gotten my hands on. The product was smaller than I thought because I was expecting it to be the size of the snoot that fit around the 7 inch reflectors but this was a mistake on my part. Its about 6-8 inches long and about 3 inches in diameter and bottom opening is about 2.5 inches. My only issues is that the shadow created by the snoot is not as sharp as I would have hoped. I was looking for a clean shadow edge, but instead there is a hot spot and another corona like area around it probably created by the light bouncing around the inside. Either way it is a good value at the nearly 16 USD i spent at the holiday sale price. Id be satisfied with paying 20 USD for this otherwise. The aluminium is dense and the snoot doesn't feel cheap. The grid insert also doesn't feel too cheap although it is thin and breakable, which is somewhat inherent to what it is. The don't seem to be a standard color so that hurts their usefulness as you may not be able to match them to something else. Over all the product is easy to use because you just find the bowens mount notches and align the snoot press and turn the snoot to lock it in place. Snoots created a spotlight from whatever light source you place inside and I used mine with the godox s bracket gen 2, so this fits that bracket at least. aside from the corona of faded light around the spot this works well.
