I've been using Bob's Red Mill products for years and the quality is always the best. Their customer service is stellar if there's any issue with the product. In this case, I'm loving the wheat germ but didn't realize, until I'd put it on my cereal and was really loving the taste, that it needs to be cooked first (I'm eating and reading the package, which is what we used to do with cereal boxes back in the day). So I started toasting about a half cup or so at a time, keeping the bag in the freezer to preserve freshness. TOASTING IT IS THE WAY TO GO!! My whole house smells like freshly baked bread, and the taste is beyond fantastic. I really have to watch it while in the oven; it cooks up pretty fast, even at 300 degrees F, but comes out so aromatic and tasty that I'm now adding it to my salads, as well. Great value, incredible health benefits with the fiber, etc., and is always fresh.

Like all of Bob's Red Mill products, the wheat germ is a quality product that will not disappoint. The product is healthy: pure- with no additives, non GMO, and no added sugar. It is a most useful addition to many recipes to increase iron intake; and for those with nut allergies, it can provide a nutty flavor in baked goods without inducing a reaction.
