My old Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 came with a sock-type front cap. Back then, no one made a lens cap that big and the filters were hard to find and very pricey. While it is good for protection when on a tripod/monopod when hiking, it can be clumsy. I was excited to find that the new Sigma super-tele zooms are now standardized on 105mm snap-on lens caps - gave me another option.I paid a premium compared to generic, but it says "Sigma," fits snugly, and is solid. With the hood on, it is a little harder to get off than the center pinch types (e.g., the new Nikon, Tokina caps) but worth the trade off.

Perfect replacement, and snaps in as it should. I have tried other 105mm caps with no luck, this one (with the Sigma name on it) worked great.

I really like that I could find this size of lens cover for my 105mm lens and works great and great price.

Used a non-sigma cover and it kept falling off. Never have had a problem with this cover. Gave four stars only because it is more expensive than it should be.

Highly recommend this…..Sadly Sigma doesn’t provide this with the $2000 lens as they should, an excellent lens with everything it should except the 105 lens cap! Kinda dumb. But buy this and you’ll have the front protection you need. They needed to add Arca Swiss mount to lens collar foot to, come on Sigma!

Works as expected - the Sigma Sport 150-600mm doesnt come with a full lens cap, so this was an essential piece to add to protect the glass
