After removing ALL of the paint on the groved mating surfaces they are solid.. there was just too much paint to allow them to grip... For the price I am willing to put in a little work to make them 100% if you don't mind an hours effort they work great.... Fit is good for my 23 Ultra Limited and the finish is actually pretty nice, especially for the price, adjustability is also good.
