Quick Release Plate for Targus TGT-58TR Tripod (TGT-58TR-QRP)

I have an older tripod that I wanted to continue using. The top plate was missing. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the top plate sold separately on Amazon. It works great. Easy to install and secure for my camera.

My dad actually gave me his tripod for my YouTube channel so I can film better videos, without having to hold the camera myself. It fitted perfectly and this is a great tripod for what I have to do. By the way, my YouTube channel is: nikkiashful .... if you were wondering.

the product is simple and works great I dont see any imperfections and it works as it should....the only reason I chose 4 stars is due to the price... but if you need one like I did you wont be disappointed with this purchase as I was happy to find a replacement for a lost one....

It did not fit my tgt58tr, it’s too big. Any recommendations on a smaller size?

Superior to the shoe that came on the Velbon tripod: The 1/4"-20 screw has a little tab for turning it by finger instead of with a screwdriver. Perfect fit.

This part does NOT fit the Targus TGT-58TR.

It works well. The color is not the exact same but it works. You are better of buying a new Targums tripod for $20 at Walmart because it is going to cost you just about that amount after shipping.
