Excellent Bluetooth Receiver for Professional Audio Setups
The ALTO Bluetooth Total 2 XLR Rechargeable Bluetooth Receiver is a fantastic solution for adding wireless audio streaming to a professional sound system. It’s incredibly convenient for situations where you want to quickly stream music or audio to a mixing desk, powered speakers, or PA system without running additional cables. The unit connects easily via XLR outputs, which makes it perfect for professional audio gear. Once paired, the Bluetooth connection is stable and the audio quality is very clean with no noticeable noise or interference, which is important when running through a mixer or PA. A few things that really stand out: • Balanced XLR outputs that integrate perfectly with mixers and pro audio equipment • Rechargeable battery allows for completely wireless operation • Simple Bluetooth pairing that connects quickly to phones, tablets, or laptops • Clean audio signal with no hum or distortion • Compact and portable design I’ve used it to stream music directly into a mixer, and it works flawlessly. The signal is strong and consistent, and it’s a great way to play background music, break music, or quick audio tracks during events without needing extra playback hardware. Overall, this is a very practical piece of gear for DJs, live sound engineers, musicians, or event setups. If you need a quick and reliable way to add Bluetooth streaming to a professional audio system, the ALTO Bluetooth Total 2 works perfectly.

Great unit, I would buy again
Use this for 6 hours once or twice a month, battery holds up, amazing range. Had this for about a year and used it with a mixing board and hooked direct to speaker. I use this for backyard parties, cornhole tournaments twice a month and wedding ceremonies. This unit does not disappoint. It will stop music and beep if you use your phone to play music and get a text or call. That was a little annoying. I turned off notifications when using my phone and that fixed that. I use an iPad for wedding ceremonies and cornhole events, no issues. I would definitely buy this again.

Ample and robust
Nice. Easy to set up and use. It’s very bulky but no complain about its quality

Tested vs wired connection: Results
I have a nice sized basement that doubles as a band room and Karaoke club. So my sound for Karaoke normally runs from my computer through a scarlet solo to XLR into my board. Very little EQ required for nice thumping sound. My goal was to reduce cords required for the Karaoke setup since a lot more people are involved. But I didn’t want to sacrifice sound quality. I tested the sound back and forth between the corded setup and this (going through my board/mixer). Results: Surprisingly good. Some EQ’ing IS needed to get you where you want to be - and most others probably won’t notice the difference (depending on your FOH setup). But the alto comes across a little thin on the bottom end. If you’re an audiophile, you’ll probably want something else, or stay corded. But for everyone else you’ll think this is great. No dropouts. Clean sound. Drop the high frequencies a little. Boost the low end. Subwoofer helps.

Great sound
Am a DJ and a bunch of times I just rent out my speaker on it’s own but it’s not Bluetooth it’s just a rcf art 912a speaker so I got this and plugged it into the speaker and it works great easy to use and he sound quality is great I didn’t experience any issues with this so now I rent out my equipment with this it does feel a little junky material but it still works and it’s decently bigger then expected and the only downside is that if you have the volume on the speaker and you disconnect from the device it makes a very loud beeping sound so make sure to have the volume to the lowest then once it’s connected plug it into the speaker but overall works great and does the job for me

Worth it!
These are an absolute must for mobile DJ’s doing an easy gig(Music Only). No need for bringing your mixer, they plug right into your XLR input and connect wirelessly to your laptop, tablet or phone. They are fairly small and connects super easy. Can be used in stereo if you buy two. Crystal clear transmission. Maybe half a second lag, if that. I wasn’t sure how well they would work given they were wireless, but they are great!! I bought two of the Alto Bluetooth Total MK2’s. And I bought one Bluetooth Ultimate for my mixer(for full setup gigs). Well worth the price!

Disappointing
I guess when you just need something convenient, it "works", but do note: 1. It does not sum into mono. I found out later, the manual says this: "Note: When wirelessly connected to a single loudspeaker, you will only hear half of the stereo audio signal. In order to hear the full, summed signal, consult your device's documentation to see how to set your audio output to mono." 2. The output has distortion, it's not obvious unless you listen for it. I was using it to do a rough tune for a system and was chasing my tail trying to find what was causing the distortion, well it was this thing. I plugged in directly with a cable and everything was perfectly fine. I know BT doesn't beat a wire for audio quality but most other BT adapters I've tried are fairly clean. This definitively made my system sound worse that it actually was, everyone could hear it, not just me. If you need something quick and easy with no expectation of quality, this works, but I wonder if some of the competitors actually sound better or are they just the same guts in a different package. I'm sending this one back.
