The design and concept looks great. Glass is surprisingly poor quality and fragile. I was trying to make broccoli sprouts. They recipe I was using was fill jar with warm water halfway with a bit of dish soap and 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar and add seeds and stir. Then you soak for 10 minutes to sterilize the the jar and outside of the seeds then wash out repeatedly. I didn't get that far. After I added water, vinegar, soap and seeds I stirred it and the jar shattered immediately. What a freaking mess that made. apple cider vinegar and tiny seeds everywhere. The glass jar is very thin and not temperature resistant glass at all. Not a true mason jar.

I was able to grow sprouts for the first time! The kit worked great! I like this kit very much. The only thing I would do ( for the manufacturer) is to have a Mason jar with a name on it or something (to give it some grip because it becomes very slippery when wet and I accidentally dropped it in the sink a few times when rinsing and draining).

This has made my sprout growing so much easier and neater. I love the way the jars are tilted to assist drainage. The tops are great and the jars are a good size. Previously, I was using cheesecloth on the tops of jars and it just seemed to make a mess. I love this set and it looks very nice on my counter.

These are great for sprouts! Easy to clean and the drain tray and system is awesome!

This has been an amazing addition to our kitchen. Easy to use and clean as well. Highly recommended
