Review: Update: Best product I've purchased in years - Amazing. This is the best purchase I have made in years. I've gone from being a slob with a sink full of dishes to a neatnik, overnight. I can't get over how much easier it makes my life. When is the last time I've bought something that actually made life simpler, instead of more complicated? I can't remember. Anyway, so far: 1. My dishes have come out perfectly clean and spotless on all of the settings I've tried so far (90, 100, and 110 min cycles). Even the dishes that I didn't rinse that had crusty, dried melted cheese, etc., were 100% clean afterwards. 2. The dishes dry quickly if you open the door a smidge. Or you can just leave them in with the door closed overnight and they will be completely dry by morning. 3. It is the perfect size for my tiny kitchen. Big enough to hold a couple days worth of dishes, but not so big that it looks intrusive or takes up too much space. 4. It was really easy to set up. Honestly, I was really worried about this because I am not a handy person. But it fits my faucet fine. I just had to swap out the thick washer for the medium one. No leaks, no fuss. Some miscellaneous info: 1. I use the little Cascade pods and Jet Dry and have had perfect results so far. 2. It is so quiet that you forget it is on until it expels water into the sink in short bursts. These bursts have caused the dog to jump straight up in the air from 2 rooms away. (UPDATE: He is used to it by now) 3. I think I read somewhere that you're supposed to shut your faucet off when the cycle is over, but I have forgotten to do so frequently. When I come back in the morning there are no leaks. (Not that I'm saying "Don't turn the faucet off", but just that it doesn't seem to be an issue for me). 4. I haven't had a problem fitting 11" plates at a slight angle. I run them through with my bowls, cups, etc. and save the dirty pots and large frying pans for a separate wash. UPDATE 1: Three months later, I'm still in love. This is probably the best thing I've ever bought from desertcart. UPDATE 2: It has been 2 years now and it still works as well as when I first bought it. I absolutely love this thing. I don't even bother rinsing- I just make sure there isn't anything on the plates that could clog the drain. Have only had to run a 2nd cycle two times in the last 2 years, and that was my fault because I loaded the dishes wrong and something obstructed the little detergent door from opening. I'm continuously surprised by how well this product works, especially since my mom bought some fancy-pants full-size diswasher at around the same time and spent well over $1000 but hers barely works at all.
Review: Pleasantly Surprised - After three months of multiple times a wee use I have been pleasantly surprised by this countertop dishwasher. If you keep your expectations reasonable you will be very happy with it. Like other reviewers have stated, all of the countertop dishwashers on desertcart all come from the same factory and have the same innards, shop on price and looks. In my case, having a rental house away from home for a one year appointment, looks didn’t really matter. The Danby plain white one with push button controls is perfect. No, this won’t wash your stock pot or large sauce pan (maybe the sauce pan and some utinsels by themselves). However, for the day to day 90%? It’s great. It will wash all of your utensils, plates (even big oversized American dinner plates), mugs bowls and glassware. Simply replace the nozzle on your sink faucet and clip on the hose when you want to use it. This does take a good amount of counter top space, but fits underneath cabinets. In my 1950s era rental with original cabinets it clears them with a few centimeters to spare in height, and a few centimeters front to back. If you put a large toaster oven and a drip brew coffee maker side by side it would take up similar horizontal space. The inside is stainless steel with plastic coated metal wire trays that seem very high quality. Cleaning quality is on par with $4-500 price range standard dishwashers. Yes, it’s probably best if you rinse your dishes thouroughly first. I haven’t tried the jet dry feature. When the cycle is over I pop the door and let the water evaporate. It isn’t very noisy, but you will notice it unless your kitchen is blocked off from the rest of your dwelling. Mostly you can hear when the water is draining as it is coming out at high pressure. If you have a small apartment or a rental house with no dishwasher, this thing pays for its self in convenience and time saved (really, 8-10 days worth of chinese takeaway meals will cover the cost). When it’s time to move? Ask the property owner to take off $250 from your last month rent and leave it with them.

A: Yes. According to the instructions it should be counter top high. It's a double hose for water inlet and dirty water outlet. Both are connected at a junction to the faucet. On the floor would be too hard on the pump.

**Q: does the water input turn off by itself**
A: Yes even if you keep the faucet On when the machine turns off the water will not run but before you take the hose off the Fossett turn off the faucet of course.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just as good as a full size dishwasher.

I just use the light wash setting and it cleans good enough to please anyone. It does indeed dry them with an internal heater. 10" plates are ideal. 11" plates will need to face the other way. And will not hold as many. But it holds quite a bit of dishes and large pots. It's been a workhorse for me. Good build quality. It has only one sprayer on the bottom. No sprayer on the top. But I have packed it somewhat unfairly. And I didn't get dishes that were only clean on one side. All dishes get clean all over. The drain might be a little loud. But you can talk over it. It doesn't run long except for the beginning drain cycle. And you can tune it out at 12 feet. The washing is quiet and almost soothing. You can replace the hosing. So you could get clever with mounting. I have mine on a rolling kitchen cart/island that's counter high. I did need rinse aid. But I think I was just using too much dish soap. And you will need to get used to that. Also the soap door can get caught somewhat easily when it opens. Not a big deal at all. I jam the silverware basket full. And it just does that. All the soap is rinsed out and used when the door partially opens. But when washing odd sized dishes and loads you will need to make sure the door has enough room to partially open. Despite this, it doesn't feel like a compromise dishwasher. The rack is thoughtfully laid out. So it isn't too much of a Jenga puzzle figuring out how to get everything in. You can wash a few silverware pieces hanging vertically in the wine rack without the silverware basket for example. I think this could work for 2 people. There was another brand that was 100-200$ more. But I'm not sure where the money is going. If having 2 sprayers get's the wash time down then maybe. But it's not going to clean any better than this one. Wash time is 75-110 minutes depending on the cycle you choose. I've had it for 3 months and I run it almost everyday. 22 out of 30 days maybe? Hard to say. I cook a lot.
