Great product, I'm going to through my leaking chinese junk manifold in the trash where it belonged when I purchased it. Buy U.S. you will not regret it.

I've only used it twice since I purchased it. It has performed well. However there's some things you should know if you've never used one like this. Before putting your quick connects to the ports, screw them counter clockwise until they stop. After you connect them to the ports, screw them clockwise to engage the Schrader valve, do it slowly while watching your gauges. When you see your needles start to move, don't force it more than 3/4 turn past that. If you do, you could easily damage the Schrader valve and lose all of your refrigerant.Don't let this deter you from purchasing this AC manifold gauge. This is actually a benefit when your connecting/disconnecting. You do not lose any coolant.Before you use the gauges for the first time on pulling down your system. Put your gauges on the vacuum pump, and turn the pump on for a few seconds. Turn the pump off and see if your gauges hold the vacuum. If not, check your connections to see if they're loose.One last note... When you turn your vacuum pump off after pulling down your system. You will need to release the negative pressure on your pump before you restart it. Otherwise you're pump may not restart. If you're new to this, educate yourself well before you start.

Item arrived after previous shipment was lost, Took way too long too the point of dissappointment.Item had some blemishes in the finish but otherwise complete.

Very high quality gauge set. You can skimp on quality with some tools and still get the job done but not in this case. I had originally purchased a set of harbor freight made in china gauges at $60.00 and they leaked. Went through two sets both with the same problem. How can you repair your ac if you don't have known good working set of gauges? The auto part store gauges were all around the same price with some "pro" (still made in china) versions costing around $90. Looked online and saw these bought them instantly. No leaks, awesome. Also you don't need a can tap for the California self sealing cans. The yellow hose screws right onto the blue adapter with minimal refrigerant spraying out. Stop wasting time just go with these and be done.

High quality made in the USA AC manifold gauge set. The fittings work well and everything seems sturdy and well made. No leaks. I decided on this gauge set after researching a lot of different options. You could go with a cheap set, but you will not get as high quality product. To me the CPS products look to be high quality without the premium price the yellow jacket or robinair products demand. I would not hesitate to purchase another CPS product after using this gauge set and their 5cfm air pump to rebuild my AC system on my Acura RL.
